01 / Downtown

Downtown Jacksonville is getting better all the time. There are quite few good places to eat and have a fun night out. 

Pros

  • Walkability
  • The Skyway 

Cons

  • Unless you work in Downtown or really close you still have to use your car 
  • Housing options are limited

02 / Springfield 

Springfield is a great neighborhood with a wonderful community. 

PROS

  • The neighbors are rockin! 
  • It's really close to Downtown 

CONS

  • There isn't much night life 
  • Quite a few empty homes and lots

03 / Riverside/Avondale 

Right now this is the place to be, it is built up and there are options for everything. 

PROS

  • It's full of local restaurants and shops
  • You can walk or ride your bike almost anywhere

CONS

  • It can be a little expensive to live in this area
  • Parking can be tricky

The Southside encompass quite large part of town, so there's lots of options.

  • More space 
  • Close to the Town Center 

CONS

  • Not many quality local shops or restaurants
  • Let's be honest, you're in the suburbs

05 / Murray Hill

The close neighbor to Riverside/Avondale, Murray Hill is starting to get more restaurants and shops. 

PROS

  • Cheaper than Riverside/Avondale and still close to the core
  • Less busy than the core

CONS

  • Still in the transition phase

06 / Beaches 

The beaches are a great place to live, there is plenty to do and tons of great people.

  • The beach
  • Multiple live music venues 

CONS

  • People drive really slow
  • It's not cheap to live there
